Albert Núñez, DVM, CVA, CRS
Dr. Nunez proudly inherited the work ethic, compassion and respect for alternative medical therapies from his Cuban parents and elders. He began his human medical studies at Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic, and then furthered his curiosity and thirst for knowledge by enrolling in veterinary school. In 1991 he graduated with honors from Ross School of Veterinary Medicine receiving his Doctorate degree. Dr. Núñez furthered his education and became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and holds a degree from the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine with reciprocity from The University of Beijing in China. He co-owns and operates two state-of-the-art integrative animal research hospitals in the greater Orlando area

Beth Carson, DVM, CVA
Dr. Carson grew up in New Jersey and moved to south Florida in 1980. She completed her undergraduate education at Florida Atlantic University, receiving a Bachelor's degree in biology; and recieved her Doctorate of Veterinary medicine from the University of Florida. Dr. Carson has had extensive training in all areas of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) and is certified in both acupuncture and tui-na (Chinese medical manipulation). She has completed both small animal and equine acupuncture training in basic and advanced therapeutic techniques. She has also completed training in tui-na, food therapy, and Chinese herbal medicine therapies. Dr. Carson teaches these techniques to other veterinarians from all over the country and the world at the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida.

Carla Marrero, DVM
Dr. Marrero was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Orlando in 1989. She graduated from Winter Park High School and attended Valencia Community College and the University of Florida. She was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent the next few years living and studying in St. Kitts, until she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2006. Upon graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Marrero moved to Louisiana and completed internships in small animal medicine, rotating medicine, surgery and emergency medicine. She moved to Hollywood, Florida where she completed a small animal surgery internship with a focus on ACL repair. Dr. Marrero relocated to Orlando in 2012 and joined the Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park in February of that year.

David Vilallonga, DVM, PhD, CVA
obtained his degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2001 as the Valedictorian of his class at the College of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Extremadura (Spain). Dr. Vilallonga continued his academic career obtaining a Master of Science in Veterinary Research in 2005 and a PhD in Veterinary Microbiology and Infectious Diseases in 2013 with several scientific articles published in veterinary magazines. He has been involved in several aspects of the veterinary profession, working as an specialist in public health and animal health for the Department of Agriculture in Spain. Now he is devoted to his furry patients in order to give them the best possible care introducing alternative approaches including Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture as well as western medical options. He relocated to Florida in July 2012 where he joined the Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park.

Dr. Kari Mundschenk is a 1990 graduate of Washington State University. Dr. Jim Martin is a native of Central Florida. Dr. John Miller
Dr. Miller is a graduate of Auburn University. He came to work at Winter Garden Animal Hospital in 1985 and bought the practice later that same year from Dr. Gibbs Ashley. Dr. Miller has worked as a veterinarian in Annarbor, Michigan; St. Augustine, Florida; and in the Air Force. At one time, he also owned a practice in Key West as well. “Dr. Andy” grew up in a "Veterinary" family full of compassion for animals, so he could not help but grow to love the field. Dr. Andy spent his college years attending North Carolina State University in Raleigh. There, he graduated cum laude in 1999 with a B.S. in Zoology and went on to the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine and focused on companion animal and exotic medicine. Dr Andy is married with two kids.

Charli Jane Braun D.V.M.

Dr. Braun is one of the most dedicated, caring and compassionate people you will ever meet. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from UF - Go Gators! Her interest in exotic and small animal medicine has led her to join the doctor team here at Winter Park Veterinary Hospital. Dr Braun and her husband share their home with Parker, an energetic lab, and a rescued kitty named Anabelle. They both love Orlando City Soccer.

Dr. Janosco believes in high quality, preventive medicine. She has traveled all over the world -Germany, Honduras, Nicaragua, Botswana, South Africa, and Zimbabwe – helping animals in need. Dr Janosco grew up in the New England area and graduated as a D.V.M from UF in 2011. Go Gators! Dr. Janosco is recently engaged and currently resides in Winter Park. She has two adopted dogs, Lily and Faith, and an adopted cat, Fennie.
