Winter Springs Town Center

Come out to the Winter Springs Town Center for the 11th annual Hometown Harvest. Bring a nonperishable food item to donate to those in need, and take part in a number of fun, family-friendly activities. There will be pumpkin painting, hayrides, live entertainment and several food and drink vendors. The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m.

LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM AND CHRISTINE MCVIE
Walt Disney Theater
Nov. 7

Two of the most quintessential rock icons of our time will be making a special stop this winter at the Walt Disney Theater. Regular members of Fleetwood Mac, Buckingham and McVie will cover old favorites and fresh tracks from their new duet album. Tickets start at $59.50. Doors open at 8 p.m.

VETERANS DAY PARADE
Orange Avenue (Downtown Orlando)
Nov. 11

Show your support for those who have defended our freedoms with the annual Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Orlando. Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Veterans Advisory Council will lead the walk, with decorative floats and fellow veteran organizations lining the streets. The parade will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

MOUNT DORA PLANT & GARDEN FAIR

Nov. 11-12

Feast your eyes on some of the most exotic plants and flowers at the 24th annual Plant & Garden Festival in downtown Mount Dora. The top growers of Central Florida will come together to display their finest in orchids, perennials, herbs, roses, spices and tropical plants. Additional vendors will be on site offering garden embellishments, unique antiques and specialty containers. Admission is free to the public, and the fun starts at 9 a.m. MountDora.com

THE GIFT OF THE HOLIDAYS
Orlando Museum of Art

The Orlando Museum of Art will transform, once again, into a seasonal wonderland of cheer and celebration. Sparkling trees, stunning showcases, twinkling vignettes and other customizations will help create a glamourous take on the most wonderful time of year. Special events and live music are scheduled nightly, and all tickets include general admission.

FREE PLAY FLORIDA
Doubletree SeaWorld
Nov. 17-19

Gamers and artists will converge this winter at the Doubletree SeaWorld for Free Play Florida. This event covers pinball, arcade and console gaming, and will include famous panelists, artists, icons, vendors and more. All proceeds will be donated to a local nonprofit organization. All ages are welcome, and tickets start at $5.

SCOTT’S MAZE ADVENTURE

Do you have what it takes to make it through a detailed, shifting maze in record time? Test your senses and take the challenge at Scott’s Maze Adventure at Long & Scott Farms. Comfortable clothing and shoes are strongly suggested, and participants are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Private vendors and a country market will offer additional snacks and goods. This event is for all ages, and tickets are $12-$16.
