The Ravenous Pig

• As of December 1, Winter Park’s award-winning Ravenous Pig has taken over the space formerly used by its sister eatery, Cask & Larder, which closed on October 30. Orlando International Airport’s Cask & Larder remains open. Both enterprises are owned by local chefs James and Julie Petrakis.

• With the Ravenous Pig changing locations, Reel Fish Coastal Grill plans to open in the Pig’s former Winter Park location. As announced by industry veteran Fred Thimm, Reel Fish will pick up the last two years on the Ravenous Pig’s old lease and will look to open in early 2017.

• The Lucky Lure bar in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village will build a wine bar and furniture gallery next to its current location. According to Lure owners Michael Blaise and Amy Smith, the new venture—Ivanhoe Furnishings and Libations—will feature furniture and home décor from local creators.

Luke’s Kitchen and Bar

• In October, Chef Brandon McGlamery and business partner Tim Noelke revealed the coming of Luke’s Kitchen and Bar in Maitland. McGlamery and Noelke also own Winter Park’s Luma on Park and Prato’s, and Luke’s will feature classic American cuisine.

Colibri Mexican Cuisine, a homegrown Mexican eatery that started in Orlando’s Baldwin Park, has launched a second location in the Downtown South Main Street district. Both locations offer traditional Mexican dishes and contemporary creations, as well as a full bar with an extensive selection of tequilas.
