Wine Quest Annual Wine Tasting and Auction
Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando

Partnering with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, this event celebrates wines and craft spirits from around the world, as well as exquisite cuisine. Silent and live auctions will also take place, with proceeds benefitting Quest Inc., an organization that works to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Dancer’s Pointe: United We Dance

This three-hour performance features local talent, many of whom are children, dancing in a variety of styles: ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, musical theater, contemporary, lyrical and hip-hop, to a variety of music genres. There’s a little something for everyone, and with an underlying theme of “United We Dance, #UnitedStrong,” it’s a tribute to everything that makes Orlando special.

Dr. Phillips Center Jazz Orchestra: Ellington for Lovers

Under the vision and leadership of artistic director Rodney Whitaker, the Dr. Phillips Center Jazz Orchestra makes its debut solo performance with this extravaganza. It’s a celebration of Duke Ellington’s music, which embodies the adult human situation in classics like “In a Sentimental Mood,” “Do Nothin’ Til You Hear From Me,” “Sophisticated Lady” and others.

Hurricane season is on its way, and Orange County encourages residents to take preparation steps ahead of its arrival. This free event will offer preparedness information to all, and compimentary emergency items such as weather radios and first-aid kits will be distributed while supplies last.

Elizabeth Parson School of Dance: Don’t Walk…Dance

The Elizabeth Parson School of Dances helps students learn ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, acrobatic and hip-hop dance moves, and they bring it all together with their annual recital. This year, the event celebrates 36 years of dancing.

United for a Purpose

Taking place from 5:30-7:30 p.m., this event will support The Jewish Pavilion’s senior programs, which include festive holiday celebrations, educational and musical offerings, and friendly visits. Tickets are $15 in advance and give attendees an evening of hors d’oeuvres and a drink, raffle prizes, auction items and networking opportunities.

Finding Neverland

Directed by Tony winner Diane Paulus, Finding Neverland tells the story behind one of the world’s best-known fictional characters: Peter Pan. Playwright J.M. Barrie struggles to find inspiration until he meets four young brothers and their beautiful widowed mother. Spellbound by the boys’ enchanting make-believe adventures, he sets out to write a play that will astound London theatergoers.

PAW Patrol Live!

It’s the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race between Mayor Goodway and Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger, but Goodway is nowhere to be found. PAW Patrol to the rescue! For the mission, Ryder summons Chase, Marshall, Skye, Zuma, Rubble, Rocky and the newest pup, Everest, who all work together to rescue Goodway and run the race in her place.

Free Summer Kids Movies
Premiere Cinemas, Fashion Square Mall
through Aug 8
Starting June 7 and continuing through the summer, Premier Cinemas at the Fashion Square Mall will host free, kid-friendly movie screenings at 10 a.m. each Wednesday. June’s selections include Ice Age, Horton Hears a Who, The Croods and Penguins.
