JOHN MULANEY: KID GORGEOUS

Comedian, writer and all-around funnyman John Mulaney is stopping at the Hard Rock Live! in Orlando for his Kid Gorgeous tour. Most known for his big break on Saturday Night Live’s recurring segment “Weekend Update,” Mulaney is also the creator of several Netflix and Comedy Central specials. GHOSTS AND GHOULS

Leave your fears behind and step into the paranormal with Ghosts and Ghouls at Orlando Museum of Art. An evening to honor the spirit of Halloween, this event will showcase artists as they channel their inner monsters and create various works that depict themes of the grim and ghastly, as well as a few spoofs of popular Hollywood horrors. Omart.org

STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE – IN CONCERT
Walt Disney Theater
Oct. 8
Gather the whole family and come out to witness a musical presentation of a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: A New Hope at the Walt Disney Theater. Presented by the Dr. Phillips Center, this show partners with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and will feature the complete film alongside the musical score of John Williams as it is brought to life. BRUNO MARS: THE 24K MAGIC WORLD TOUR

Oct. 14
Experience the multi-talented musical force that is Bruno Mars as he takes the stage at the Amway Center this fall. A singer with world-wide performance power and the recipient of many awards, Mars will have no shortage of hits to perform, including singles such as “24K Magic” and “That’s What I Like,” among others. FALL SERIES: THE ART OF GOTHIC
The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art
Oct. 14-28 (Saturdays only) 
Hosted by world-renowned art critic Andrew Graham- Dixon, this three-part documentary special is provided by the museum’s “Friday Brown Bag Matinees” program. This film will explore the history of gothic art as it existed during the Enlightenment and 19th century periods and will also take look at contemporary movements in the genre. MorseMuseum.org

WILLIE NELSON & FAMILY

Witness beloved classic country star Willie Nelson as he takes the stage alongside his musically-inclined friends for a concert showcasing all of their hits. A man with over 50 years of experience and several hundred albums, Nelson is an award-winning talent that you won’t want to miss. AN EVENING WITH NEIL DEGRASSE TYSON

Even the brightest of minds will find room to acquire some additional knowledge during An Evening with Neil DeGrasse Tyson. A famed astrophysicist, Tyson will push earthly limits as he discusses everything that influences our conscious views, and spends some time on his ideology, “The Cosmic Perspective.” The show is at 8 p.m., and tickets start at $49.50. DrPhillipsCenter.org

BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA

Oct. 21
If contemporary horror cinema doesn’t quite do it for you, head over to Enzian Theater for a special showing of Bram Stoker’s Dracula instead. Presented as part of their “Book to Big Screen” series, this iconic cult classic follows everyone’s favorite vampire as he chases his mortal love around London, and sucks the life out of the city along the way. Dress in your best attire and support the Knights at The Pineapple Ball induction ceremony this fall. A fantastic opportunity for those who wish to sponsor the University of Central Florida’s Hospitality Management College, this event will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a live ceremony, dinner and dancing. SEAWORLD’S HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR

Weekends through Oct. 29
Dress up as favorite marine animal and get ready to party on land at SeaWorld’s annual Halloween Spooktacular this fall. This daytime celebration is included with park admission and will include specially-themed live shows, arts and crafts, games, a dance party, and trick-or-treating around the park.
