Dog Feeding Sign

Paws down… with this very handy sign, you won’t need to worry about when your dog was last fed.

Materials:

  • Thin Wood Sign (available at your local craft store)
  • Acrylic Paint & Paintbrush or Colored Markers
  • Ribbon (12” length)
  • Wooden Decals (optional)
  • Hot Glue Gun

Steps:

  1. Paint a base coat on both sides of the wood sign, any color (we chose black).
  2. Paint or color the shape of a bone on both sides, and a sun on one side and a moon on the other.  If you are using decals, paint those (we hand-painted the bones and used wooden decals for the sun and moon).
  3. Parents, hot glue decals on the sign, as well as both ends of the ribbon along the top edge of the sign.
  4. Hang on the wall above the dog’s food bowl. When your dog has been fed in the morning flip the sign to show the sun, or the side with the moon if fed in the evening.
