Supplies needed:

• Pre-made bird house from craft store
• Acrylic paints – red, pinks, and white
• Paint brushes
• Stiff paper for making heart templates
• Scissors

1. Begin by painting the birdhouse a solid color, such as white.
2. Let the house completely dry.
3. Cut heart shapes out of the sturdy paper to use as your templates.
4. Using the heart templates, paint designs on the house.
5. Don’t forget to sign and date your special Valentine gift!
6. Let dry and spray with clear acrylic gloss coating.
