Sure, doctors wind up getting most of the glory, but the fact is that nurses play an integral role in health care. What’s more, whether it’s at a routine checkup with your primary physician or during a hospital stay, chances are you’ll wind up interacting far more with your nurse than with the doctor. All of which explains why it’s important to shine a spotlight on these oft-unsung heroes of the medical world.
