Additionally, the organizers of the festival announced on October 5 that due to Hurricane Matthew, the show will not take place this year.

Celebrating its 43rd anniversary, the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival returns to tony Park Avenue on October 8 & 9. This year, 180 Florida artists will display work in 10 different categories, including ceramics, digital art, drawings and graphics, fiber, fine crafts, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography and sculpture.

Recognized as one of the largest in the nation, this event is framed by beautiful Central Park and Park Avenue. Furthermore, the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival is the only juried fine art show in the state to showcase Florida artists exclusively, resulting in a real treat for Sunshine State art lovers.

In addition to the opportunity to appreciate and buy original art, attendees can people-watch, enjoy food from various vendors, sample seasonal craft beers in the Florida Distributing Co. beer garden, and enjoy live musical entertainment on the Central Park Stage throughout the weekend. Led by instructors from the Crealde School of Art, children’s art workshops will also be available for budding artists between the ages of 2 and 10.

Admission is free to the public. Park Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from Lyman Avenue to Canton Avenue, but parking will be available on side streets and in garages.
