“Where Every Smile Is Beautiful”

Dr. Danielle L. Recine

Founded by an experienced clinical professional and a mother of two, City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry’s goal is to rewrite the narrative of dental anxiety that can begin in one’s early experiences.

Childhood visits to the dentist will define how a person feels about receiving dental care for the rest of their life—that’s why it’s important that pediatric dental care is an empathetic and enjoyable experience. Founded and owned by Dr. Danielle L. Recine, City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry was built by understanding the vital role that these principles have in a child’s future and maintenance of optimal dental health.

“Families often tell us the atmosphere feels warm, calm and welcoming the moment they arrive, and that’s exactly what we strive for—compassion, communication, transparency and empowerment guide everything we do. Parents are always invited to stay with their child, we encourage questions and take our time to explain things in ways that help both children and adults feel comfortable. Above all, our goal is for families to feel seen, supported and genuinely cared for,” she says.

A graduate of NYU College of Dentistry and completing pediatric residencies at NYU and Bellevue Hospital—one of New York City’s busiest public hospitals—Dr. Danielle’s expertise spans the full range of pediatric specialties. This includes preventive, restorative, sedation dentistry, infant oral care, and laser frenectomies for lip and tongue ties. She also employs a holistic collaboration with lactation consultants, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, and craniosacral therapists to support feeding, speech and development.

“Opening my own pediatric dental practice has been a dream since dental school. Before taking that step, I worked in several pediatric practices across multiple states, giving me the opportunity to care for children with a wide range of needs and experiences,” affirms Dr. Danielle. “I settled in Central Florida, a place that has always felt close to my heart after spending many of my childhood days visiting my grandparents in Cocoa Beach. Building City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry here felt like the most natural and meaningful next chapter. Since opening, the practice has grown into a space where evidence-based dentistry, empathy and a true family-centered approach all come together. Our growth has been rooted not just in the services we provide but in the relationships we build with the families we serve.”

City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry welcomes children of all ages and abilities. For those who benefit from extra support, the practice also offers personalized accommodations for sensory sensitivities, neurodivergence, high anxiety, and other unique needs, including sensory kits, fidget toys, weighted blankets, sunglasses and noise-reducing headphones.

When families step inside the practice, they immediately feel cared for. Before the appointment, patients can play a Pac-Man arcade game or enjoy the social-media wall—combatting any nerves while waiting. There’s even a reward system to incentivize visits and to further encourage a positive connection to dental health.

During the treatment, patients will experience precise and gentle care. Common situations include routine cleanings and exams, and establishing healthy habits. Dr. Danielle also offers minimally invasive restorative care that utilizes technology designed for comfort, accuracy and innovation. She also sees infants for feeding concerns, and performs lip, tongue and cheek tie releases with a LightScalpel CO₂ laser.

“Every child arrives with their own personality, comfort level, sensory needs and past experiences, so we tailor each visit to match the child in front of us. We move at a pace that feels comfortable and use simple, reassuring explanations to build trust. Parents remain chairside for support, and we’re very intentional about reducing overstimulation in the environment,” says Dr. Danielle. “Choice is woven throughout our approach. Giving kids small decisions—like picking a flavor, choosing the order of steps, or holding something familiar—helps them feel confident and empowered. Ultimately, our goal is to meet every child exactly where they are and create an experience that feels safe, calm and positive.”

Dr. Danielle’s philosophy is that her practice is a “dental home” that provides long-term support. This outlook has led her to be recognized as an authority on pediatric dentistry. She regularly takes her work beyond normal office hours by sharing her evidence-based expertise in publications like The Strategist, authoring blogs and appearing on podcasts for the Central Florida Birth Network and the Orlando Mom Collective, and contributing to the book The Chronicles of Women in White Coats. Additionally, Dr. Danielle participates in local community events and community outreach at local schools such as career days, presenting on oral health and what it’s like to be a pediatric dentist.

“City Beautiful Pediatric Dentistry is founded on the belief that parents are true partners in their child’s care. As a mom-owned, family-centered practice, we are dedicated to blending clinical excellence with empathy, communication, and education,” says Dr. Danielle. “Every detail—from our technology to our sensory tools to the way we speak with families—is designed to reduce stress and build trust. Our mission is to ensure every family feels valued, understood and supported from the moment they walk through our doors.”
