Making Magical Holiday Memories

No matter what the temperature in Central Florida during November and December, the forecast calls for snow flurries. It’s Christmastime at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and the magical holiday season will swirl down Main Street U.S.A. on 19 special evenings – November 8th through mid-December — during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Your special ticket on these exclusive nights allows you to step through the turnstiles of the Magic Kingdom after regular park hours and experience the breathtaking transformation of the theme park into a magical winter wonderland. It is easy to catch the spirit of the season as you stroll down Main Street U.S.A. amid millions of twinkling lights, glistening decorations and shop windows decorated for the holidays.

In addition to unlimited admission to popular attractions, this enchanted holiday party includes live shows, carolers and special character meet-and-greets. As you begin your evening with a walk down Main Street U.S.A., the Dapper Dans, a barbershop quartet, will warm your heart with their unique renditions of your favorite Christmas songs.

As the night sky grows dark, look toward Cinderella’s Castle.  It will begin to glow in a dreamy blanket of twinkling lights during “Cinderella’s Holiday Wish” ceremony performed nightly. Those lights will later shine a spotlight on spectacular “Celebrate the Season” holiday performances with a cast of characters full of holiday merriment. The castle show takes place at 7:45 p.m., 10:05 p.m. and 11:20 p.m.

Twice-nightly – at 8:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. – “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade” will entertain and delight all ages with seasonal melodies and favorite characters decked out in their holiday best. The excitement builds as dancing gingerbread cookies and marching soldiers parade down Main Street U.S.A. in advance of the special guest of the evening… Santa Claus! In between the parades, at 9:30 p.m., a spectacular “Holiday Wishes” fireworks display orchestrated to holiday melodies will delight eventgoers of every age.

Five times each evening, enjoy the antics of Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski and Stitch on the Rockettower Plaza Stage in “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas!” Also, you will find that Rusty Cutlass and his pirate crew have caught the holiday spirit at Adventureland’s Caribbean Plaza as they put a new twist on holiday music.

Additionally, during your evening, you are invited to enjoy complimentary sweet treats. Cookies, cocoa, apple slices and apple juice will be served throughout the park.

Once the last snowflake falls on Main Street U.S.A. and the fireworks fade into the cool night sky, your after-hours outing will be complete; but, the memories of this magical holiday event are sure to live on – perhaps even becoming an annual family tradition.
