Imagine seeing giant ants (as long as 25 ft. and weighing 725 lbs. each) look like they are marching across the grass or, as you walk along a path, a chance encounter with a 12 ft. spider in its web! LeuGardens.org JAN 16 th & 17 th Sand Hill Scout Reservation - Reenactment The raid is a re-creation of a CivilWar battle that occurred in Hernando County in July of 1864. It has become the largest reenactment in Florida with over 1,500 actors and their families, 28 cannons, 60 horses, and over 50 sutlers. The public is invited to tour, at no additional charge, the authentic confederate and union camps and see how they lived and what it was like during the CivilWar.
